The Organic Cup Detroit — Official Competition Rules

Competition Categories
Entry Fee: $60 per entry
Participants may enter multiple categories.
Each entry must be submitted in the following amounts:
Best Indoor Flower – 14 x 1g samples
Best Outdoor Flower – 14 x 1g samples
Best Pre-Roll – 7 pre-rolls
Best Donut (Hashhole) – 7 donut pre-rolls
Best Full Melt (Solventless Hash) – 7 x 0.5g samples
Best Rosin – 7 x 0.5g samples
Best Solventless Cartridge – 7 cartridges
Best Edibles – 7 sample portions
Best Topicals – 7 sample portions
Packaging & Submission Requirements
Unbranded Packaging Only: All entries must be submitted without any branding, logos, or identifying marks.
Pre-Separated Samples Required: Do not submit bulk products. Each sample must be separated and individually packaged.
Category-Specific Submissions: Do not combine flower, hash, or other products in a single package. Each product type must be submitted according to its category.
Violating these packaging rules will result in automatic disqualification.
Organic Standards & Compliance
All entries must be cultivated and/or created using organic practices:
✅ Allowed:
Organic-certified inputs
Homemade ferments
Korean Natural Farming inputs
JADAM & probiotic-style nutrients
Living soil, compost, worm castings, etc.
❌ Not Allowed:
Synthetic fertilizers
Salt-based nutrients (e.g., EDTA chelates, liquid salts)
Synthetic pesticides or fungicides
Entrants found using prohibited practices may be disqualified and banned from future events.
Important Dates
Entry Drop-Off Deadline:
All entries must be delivered before 12:00 PM on June 28, 2025, at the event location.
Judging Period:
Judging takes place all day on June 28th.
Awards Ceremony:
Winners will be announced at 10:00 PM on June 28th.
